Welcome to Jang Tuh Bossam      

Jang Teo Bossam is a Korean restaurant located in the heart of Koreatown Los Angeles. Korean bossam is our main dish that consists of boiled pork belly that is sliced into thin pieces and served with various condiments such as garlic, green onions, and ssamjang (a thick, spicy paste made from soybean paste, chili pepper paste, and other seasonings). 

 

To eat bossam, diners typically take a lettuce or cabbage leaf, place a piece of pork belly and some condiments on top, wrap it up, and eat it in one bite. It is often enjoyed as a communal dish, where everyone at the table shares the same plate of pork belly and condiments, and wraps their own portions in the lettuce or cabbage leaves. Bossam is a popular dish in Korea and is often served on special occasions such as weddings or Lunar New Year celebrations.

Additionally, our restaurant serves other typical Korean dishes as well including kimchi stew, Korean potato pancake, Korean soy bean paste stew, and more!
